Hey Guys,

I really need to hear from you guys today. Have any of you had times in your life when you were really being blessed and you had people in your life who are supposed to love you, but they can’t see what God is doing and they are being very negative about your blessings? Please let me know what you did or what would you do?

  1. Forgive them and move on. Life is far too short to waste on toxic people. Blessings, Barbara

  2. sometimes people will take out their frustration on another if their own life is in a standstill or not where they want to be. Don’t take it personally if you have received a blessing and others are not capable of ‘rejoicing when you rejoice’. Don’t forget to ‘mourn with those who mourn’ as well. Sometimes people feel like ‘oh that person is happy now so they can’t see past their own nose’ be sure to let others know that you still care about them and want good things for them also… doing that sometimes will cut down on the cold shoulder during times of blessings.

  3. I totally agree with that!!! Thank you so much!

  4. Becky Shepard says:

Sometimes every step forward is threatening to the ones closest to us. Our progress, I believe, makes them fear we are leaving them behind. Fly. If they are our true friends and family, they will fly along with us. ~ Blessings

  6. Hi Romp,

    # times in your life when you were really being blessed
Interesting point but let me ask you, how many of us do really see, recognize, realize that we are being blessed!!!!

    # but they can’t see what God is doing and they are being very negative about your blessings
When I don’t see myself, recognize I am being blessed by the GOD, how can I expect others to reciprocate the same. While at the same time, when I do see, recognize I am being blessed, does it really matter what others see, think about whats happening in and to me. Do I have to run my life based on what others see, think about me?

    # you had people in your life who are supposed to love you, but they can’t see what God is doing
I would rather prefer my loved ones to remain what they are instead of seeing whats happening to me because more than half the times, its the loved ones who create trouble if and when they see someone they love, supposed to, is really being blessed. 🙂

    Regards

  8. Ah, yes…the old crabs in a bucket story… when you put one crab in a bucket, it will easily climb out. You put a bunch in a bucket and not one escapes because every time one tries to climb out, the others in their efforts to climb over him, will pull him down. No one succeeds.
When others are negative towards you, it says more about THEM than it does about you. Know this and feel compassion for their self-based fears and send them Light for awakening. Terri Cole-Whitaker puts it best, “What others think about you is none of your business.” I use this quote A LOT in my life! It keeps me on my soul-path.
