Inspirational Women Of Detroit: Lisa Reynolds, Valassis Communications

bilde
It’s a Fact!

Lisa is mom to Robert Louis, 10, and Ryan Lawrence, 8, and works as VP of consumer engagement at Valassis Communications.

What We Love

Lisa leads Valassis’s brand strategy for its consumer brand, RedPlum, and its business-to-business brand. Under her leadership the company has launched successful campaigns, including ValassIs, to promote its unique attributes and position its evolving media portfolio. She also led the creation of the Good Deal campaign, heightening consumer awareness of RedPlum.com.

To get the pulse of consumer trends, Lisa is continually gathering knowledge about the wants and needs of the brand’s core target audience: working moms aged 25 to 54 with kids.

As a busy working mom of two young boys, this accomplished marketing executive can readily relate to the target consumer.  Also known as RedPlum’s Mom-Saver-in-Chief, Lisa shares her insights on how to best live the value lifestyle.  Lisa hosts nationally recognized experts on her monthly online radio show, Viva la Value, on BlogTalk Radio. Quoted frequently in the media about savings, she focuses on the company’s mission: to deliver value to consumers how, when and where they want.

She is also passionate about delivering hope to American families of missing children. She works closely with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to bring awareness to the cause and promote Valassis’s Have You Seen Me? program, featuring the names and faces of missing children across its RedPlum media.

A strong advocate of women in the workplace, Lisa is active in the Network of Executive Women, committed to attracting, retaining, and advancing women in the retail and consumer products industry; she is also a member of the Valassis Women’s Network and Inforum.
